Streamlining PDF Editing: A Small But Significant Improvement

As an Adobe Acrobat DC user, I'm sure many of you can relate to the frustration of spending too much time on small, tedious tasks that hinder productivity while editing PDFs. One such example is when copying and pasting text or images from external sources into new PDF fields. The current process is not only time-consuming but also annoying.

The issue lies in the default behavior of Acrobat DC, which requires users to manually move copied content back to its original location after pasting. This can be a significant waste of time, especially when working on complex documents that involve multiple fields and images.

To address this concern, I'm suggesting that Acrobat DC adopt a new feature where text, images, or other content pasted from external sources defaults to the original location. This would save users a considerable amount of time and effort, allowing them to focus on more important tasks.

For instance, when copying text from an image or another source, it should automatically paste at the default location, eliminating the need for manual repositioning. Similarly, when creating new text fields, the pasted content should also be placed at its original location by default.

I believe this small but significant improvement would have a substantial impact on the overall productivity and efficiency of Acrobat DC users. I'd love to hear from others who share my concern and potentially collaborate on finding a solution.
