Importing Heights Maps

Unfortunately, I couldn't import a map with heights into the game so that it would display the grass as a different color - green, for example. This is something you may also encounter when creating your own maps.

Assigning Objects to LOD Pictures

I'm not sure if it's possible to assign objects to LOD pictures in BeamNG Drive, but I think the game has internal optimization features that include checkboxes for meshculling. However, optimizing a map requires attention to detail, and I haven't yet checked how the load of objects affects performance.

Directly Exporting Objects from Blender

I've learned how to directly export objects from Blender, texture them, and export them to BeamNG Drive. This has solved the notorious 'No Materials' problem that many users face when creating maps for BeamNG Drive.
